My Thoughts On The Boston Tragedy and More.

As I always do I have to share my thoughts on the Boston Tragedy but first I want to remind everybody that today is the 6 year anniversary of the horrific Virginia Tech Masacre. I will never ever forget that day. I remember that day like it was yesterday everyday. I was at my own college in Richmond, Virginia that day I had no idea what had happened until I was driving home around noon. I was just in total shock and worried. I had friends and people I knew who were there and when I got home I immediately called my best friend Sarah and turned on CNN. Never Forget the victims of that day! RIP!

Yesterday was a day just as horrific as the VA Tech masacre and a grim reminder of 9/11. I was in shock yet again and wondering why we keep hurting each other. I don’t understand it and I don’t think I ever will. My love, prayers, and thoughts go out to the people of Boston during this horrible time. I keep thinking that we need more love in this world and less hate. Hate gets us nowhere and only hurts people phyiscally and emotionally. We need to end the violence and bring in peace and love if not for our generations then for the generations to come. Tragedy dooes bring people together and brings out humanity in a good way, a way we need to have everyday from everybody. I felt so bad for my hero Alyssa Milano when she tweeted that after she put her son to bed she went to her room and cried her eyes out. She just wants peace, love, and compassion to reign through the whole world and so do I and people who immediately start blaming others need to think before they do so because that doesn’t help at all and neither does a certain group of people who are planning to picket funerals of the innocent people who died in the explosions. They have just as much hate in them as do the person or people who set off those explosions. We need more tolerance and respect and less prejudice, racism, sexism, and hate in general. We need more love and compassion and people like Alyssa Milano who are just trying to make a better, safer, and more loving world for us and her son. The least we can do is help her out and help the world heal and come together and bring love to others. Pass along a smile everyday you never know who is needing it. Donate money to charities to help those less fortunate. Hug the people you love and tell them you love them you never know when it will be your last chance to do so. With that I want to show you a quote that goes really well here:

That quote couldn’t be more true. I will always stand by Alyssa’s side and help her out whenever I can. This madness needs to stop!

By giving back you will know what it truly means and feels to be happy! That is a lesson that I thank Alyssa Milano for teaching me! I will always be proud to be a loyal fan and supporter of hers! <3 nbsp="" p=""> ~Peace and Love~

Some things I need to say

I want to apologize before I write this blog post but this is something that I need to do.
We as Alyssa Milano fans love and admire her so much so it makes me so mad and sad when I read of people hating on her and most recently a death hoax about her. This is not the first one either. I remember on the night Sunday's At Tiffany's premiered somebody did a death hoax about Alyssa and it made so mad and sad that it made me cry. I just don't understand these people. It is the lowest of the low to go and spread a hoax that this sweet, amazing, beautiful, and inspirational lady is dead. It hurts so many people and just gets under my skin. These people need to get a life and stop this crap. This latest one apparently happened on Friday but I never saw it anywhere I just found out about it through a post on Facebook. I always knew she was alive. I don't believe these hoaxes and neither should the rest of us. Here is the link to the story in case you want to read about it: http://en.mediamass.net/people/alyssa-milano/deathhoax.html
Alyssa doesn't deserve to be treated this way nobody does and it just makes me so mad that it happens. Alyssa is a wonderful, beautiful, compassionate, inspirational lady who is also a wonderful mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin, and friend. She does all she can to make our beautiful world a better place and to the idiots who spew such hatred and wish death to her I have this to say: You should be ashamed of yourselves. You are not only hating on one of the sweetest most amazing ladies but you are hurting all who love her by spewing your hatred and it makes me so mad and sad. You are teaching people hate when the world has enough in it already we need more love and people like Alyssa who bring light and love and happiness to the world and she is a prime example of what it truly means to be a humanitarian and a reason why she is my hero. I hope that one day you people come to your senses and stop your nonense but you probably never will.
This last thing I need to say I have been holding my tongue on this for too long now and if I don't talk about it I will blow. I read stories about people doing stupid and bad things and a lot them happen in Florida where I live and I have a habit of reading the comments afterwards and some of those comments make me so mad . There are some seriously ignorant people out there. I was reading some comments a few days ago about how we should cut Florida off and let it float away from the United States and how stuff like that doesn't happen in blue states  and it is not just Florida there are some seriously prejudice comments I have read in the past about the whole south and it just makes me so mad that people are that hateful and that stupid to think that everbody from Florida and the south from that matter are stupid, racist, and sometimes I read toothless stupid hillbillies. What is wrong with people? I am not stupid or racist and I am definetly not toothless. My IQ is 111 I took a test once and that is 1 point above average. You people are talking about just part of the people who live here and in the south but there is a whole other part like me who want love and peace and help people and love music and good food and sports just like the rest of you and I am tired of reading people bashing a whole state for some peoples stupid actions and sometimes a whole region too. You are no better than the stupid people who do stupid and horrible things when you say such hateful things. You are sterotyping and you are being prejudice and I just couldn't hold my tongue any longer and I apologize for this being so long.

A Special Thank You to Alyssa Milano! (@Alyssa_Milano)

This past weekend was Super Bowl weekend and Alyssa went to the big game! As she was watching she tweeted this, " I'm so proud of . And to be at and see ladies wearing the line is the best feeling ever. " That tweeted made me think and realize how grateful I am to Alyssa for making such a wonderful line of clothing for us female sports fan.

Football has been in my blood since the day I was born you could say. I was born on Super Bowl Sunday, January 31st, 1988 they day the Redskins beat the Broncos 42-10 to win the Super Bowl! My aunt is a huge Redskins fan she has been for a long time and of course the fandom got passed down to me. Me in my Redskins shirt when I was 2 or 3:

I am still a Redskins fan but now that I live in Jacksonville, FL I bleed Teal!!

Yes! That is one of my Touch tops I am wearing and that wore to the game!

I also majorly love baseball! Since the days that my dad and I played baseball in our front yard, to going to the Richmond Braves games at the diamond and going to the Orioles/Blue Jays game back in 2006 when I was on my senior trip! Yes, Baseball has been in a my life a long time too! I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan and have several Touch Braves shirts!

Yes I have a love for multiple sports as do many female sports fans and as does Alyssa herself! Touch has given the female fans a platform to be fans just like the guys and proudly fly our teams colors and wear such comfy and stylish clothes! We don't have to wear pink anymore and we don't have to wear mens clothes that don't fit our bodies. Thanks to my hero and idol Alyssa Milano we, the female sports fans have beautiful, comfortable, team colored clothing that fits our unique bodies and shows the world that the female sports fan does matter and we can be like all the other sports fans and share our love for the sports we so love so I just want to say a huge thank you to Alyssa on behalf of me and other female sports fans world wide for this amazing clothing line and for you in general. It is one of my biggest dreams that I get to meet one day Alyssa and show you my Touch and not just in pictures! You are truly amazing Alyssa and I love you and so do many others all of the world so Thank you! <3

All of my Touch shirts, jacket, and hoodie! The one on top of the long sleeved one is my favorite Braves shirt that I am wearing in one of my pics above didn't realize it had fallen out of my hand when I had layed all the rest out sorry. I also have a Touch Braves bracelet that I wear all of the time and Touch Braves necklace! I love Touch and I just want to again Thank Alyssa for bringing her amazing clothing line into all of our lives! <3

Innocence lost

Yesterday in Connecticut there was a horrible tragedy, a shooting again, this time at an Elementary school. 6 and 7 year olds shot dead with a shot gun. In the words of my hero and idol Alyssa Milano "What the fuck is wrong wtih people?" I would love to know why this keeps happening but even more so how do people with mental problems keep getting ahold of these deadly weapons? It's insantity and oh so sad. This is supposed to be the holiday season it's a time of joy, laughter, togetherness, but above all love, but the violence is trying to take the holiday spirit away.

In the midst of every tragedy there is hope and it brings people together all over the nation and even the world. We always overcome everything and we always will with the power love and hope. Alyssa brings that out through twitter her heart is so beautiful and huge and it makes me smile and gives me hope for the future even if things seem bleak right now.

Something else about this tragedy that really gets on my nerves is the media going up to those poor kids who just survive something they never should have gone through in the first actually nobody just have to endure what those kids did but anyway as I was saying the media goes up to those kids and starts interviewing them. I mean are you kidding me? They are traumatized and don't need that right now. You would think they would have some common sense and leave the children alone but no they want to get their story at whatever the cost. It just makes me so mad to see those poor children being interviewed after all they went through. Just leave the children alone. Rant over on that subject.

Every time something like this happens it always reminds me of that day back in April 2007 the worst massacre in US History the VA Tech massacre I was at college and had no clue what had happened until I was driving home and heard it on the radio I was just stunned and worried since I had friends there but they are all ok. I got home and turned on CNN and called my best friend Sarah. It was so scary that this tragedy was happening in my home state of Virginia. Now every time a mass shooting happens I flash back to that April day in 2007.

Now is not the time for debating gun laws and negativity but it's the time to come together as a nation and give love and support to the victims and families of this horrific tragedy but I do believe that something needs to be done and needs to be done soon to stop these tragedies from happening again.

"If you want peace, you won't get it with violence." - John Lennon

My favorite quote by my favorite person! "It's nice to be important, but it's important to always be nice"- Alyssa Milano

This is what we need all over the world today!

That is all for now. Be kind to one another always!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating today. Today is not just about eating all the yummy food but it's also a time to reflect on all we are thankful for. What are you thankful for? I am going to tell you what I am thankful for right now.

I am thankful for the yummy food I will be eating later today, the roof over my head here and at home in Florida. My family and friends. Our beautiful planet that we need to take care of for future generations, the ability to give back and help people less fortunate, creativity, my baking skills, my cats and all the other amazing animals on our planet, the beauty of nature, the stars, moon, rainbows, waterfalls, ocean and all the amazing wonders of our planet. and all the other things we take for granted everyday which we shouldn't and I am thankful to the men and women who are fighing to preserve our freedom right now and to those who gave their lives for our freedom including my late Grandpa and Grandaddy and my cousin Reid who is in the navy right now.

But mostly I am Thankful for these wonderful people in my life:

My wonderful, amazing, sweet, prince charming, fiance Rob! I could never ever picture my life without him! He makes me the happiest woman alive and completes my life! He makes me feel special everyday! He makes me laugh and cheers me up when I am down and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! I love him so much and always will!!

My Hero, Idol, and Biggest Inspiration in life, Alyssa Milano! She inspires me to be the best person I can be no matter what anybody says. She makes me smile everyday with her tweets, compassion, love, and humor. Her humanitarianism is so inspiring to me and has inspired me to start my own Chairty Water birthday campaign next month! She is a wondeful Mother to her adorable son Milo. She makes me feel like everything will be ok when I feel like everything is going wrong. Alyssa is an angel and I love her so much!

My Best Friend and Sis Jen! Jen makes me laugh and smile and I could never picture my life without her in it. She is always there for me and my fiance Rob. I could have never asked for a better Best Friend and Sis. I can always go to her with my problems and she always makes me feel better about everything. She is beautiful, sweet, and so talented. I love her so much and I always will!

Lastly I am thankful for my other Best Friends, Sarah, Ellen, Lisa P, Lippy, Natalie, Delphine and the other amazing people from Alyssa's Army!

So, while you are enjoying your meal today, remember what you are thankful for and never forget those who are less fortunate and always find ways to give back!

Happy Thanksgiving!
