Good News and Bad News

Well I have some good news and some bad news. Going to get the bad news out of the way first. A very good Family Friend Don passed away suddenly this Labor Day due to an accidental drowning. He and my Godmother lived together and were out on a boat and were wadding in the water and they didn't know how close they were to the ledge of the deep part of the river and Don slipped and went down and took my godmother with him. He managed to get my godmother back to the shallow end and she had ahold of his hand but he slipped from her grip and drowned. RIP DB we will miss you alot. I will miss all the times we laughed together and I will miss your music too. He was a bass player in a band with his brother called 10 spot. I just saw them play this past June. Don was also the bass player at one point for the 80's band A Flock Of Seagulls. :(  My 2nd bad news is my Grandma. We thought she had another hernia but she doesn't have one she has an infection and is on antibotics for it but may still have to be operated on. :(

Life can change in an instant so always be grateful for the things you have and the people you have in your life you never know when you will last talk to them.

My good news is hopefully soon I will be volunteering at least once a week to start off at the animal shelter here in Jacksonville where I got my cat Angel from. It makes me feel so good to know I am doing something good for homeless pets. Alyssa Milano is my hero and biggest inspiration for doing good in this world whenever I can. She is amazing. She makes me believe that there is still good in this world and that by giving back we can make our world a better place. Throughout my life I have done countless fundraisers for my schools and my club FCCLA Family Career Community Leaders of America, I did Jump Rope For Heart throughout my elementary school years. In my summer programs I did Meals on Wheels and volunteered at the food bank in Richmond, VA when I was a preteen. I have done the Anthem Heart Walk and the MS Walk in Richmond with my mom and her friends. I donated to Alyssa's incredible cause for her son Milo's 1st bday and you still can too http://www.indiegogo.com/MilosBirthday?c=home So now volunteering at the animal shelter adds to all the good things I have done throughout my life and I couldn't do it without my biggest Inspiration in life Alyssa Milano. I love you so much Alyssa and I always will.

My last good news is my dad who is a recovering alcoholic has been sober for a year now. He hasn't had a drop of alcohol in one year! Also he is down to smoking 3 packs of cigarettes a day and is working on quitting that. :)

Well that's all my news so far and I just want to sum up by saying how much I love my hero Alyssa Milano, my fiance Rob, and my BFF's Lisa, Sarah, Ellen, Natalie, Jen, Lippy and more! Never forget how much I love you all.

One last word: Please send prayers and good vibes to 2 wonderful, inspirational, and courageous guys Lippy and Geno (LippyJimmy and Genosworld on twitter) who are both battling cancer right now. I know they will both beat that horrible disease because they are both incredibly strong and I believe in them 100 %. I am behind them 100 % also. You can do it guys! Fuck Cancer!

~Peace and Love~
