Emma is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming (David) on Once Upon A Time. She's not just the product of their true love, she's also The Savior and a hero to many, myself included. Emma is a protector and a defender. She does whatever it takes to keep her family safe even if it means sacrificing herself. Emma is strong, selfless, caring, and a survivor among many things and she's so beautiful! Emma is not just The Savior because of her magic, she's The Savior because it's who she's is and who she's meant to be along with her will to do good and her strong, caring heart. She's meant to be a hero and protect the ones she loves the most and her magic helps her do that. Emma is an inspiration to do good and to be good.
Emma Swan is also a survivor. Sent to our world after she was born to protect her from the curse, she lived on the streets a lot. She was alone and had a really hard time believing in herself and accepting love into her life. She wouldn't be who she is without going through all that she did. I relate to her so much. I know how it feels to be alone and to not believe in yourself. I still have self doubt a lot but Emma gives me strength and hope to believe in myself and that I won't always be alone even though it feels like it some times.
To me, Emma Swan is a beacon of light and a symbol of hope and love. She helps me believe that there is still good in the world and that no matter how bad things are and get, they will always get better. We need heroes like Emma to look up to in our world today. Emma shows that women can be the heroes and that we're not always the ones that need saving.
Being the shy, quiet, introvert, nerd girl that I am, it makes me so happy and inspires me to look up to Emma Swan. I know how it feels to feel like you don't belong or fit in and strong female characters and people like Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) makes me feel like I am not alone and gives me hope that there is a place for everyone even me.
So, why do I love Emma Swan? I love Emma Swan because she is strong and always seems to find the courage to overcome all of her obstacles and even find her parents and her true love! There is always hope for everyone no matter who we are or where we come from. As long as we have strong, heroic, inspirational, and bad ass characters and people to look up to, we can do anything! Emma Swan is proof that no matter where you came from, no matter what your situation is, you will always find love, a home, and the courage to be who you are and who you are meant to be!
Emma Swan will forever be one of my all time favorite characters and heroes and I really hope she doesn't die!
